EMI Calculators

Calculators that work out a monthly instalment, whatever you are financing. Each one shows the EMI, the total interest and a full repayment schedule.

Which emi calculators should you use?

An EMI is a fixed monthly payment that covers interest on what you still owe plus a slice of the principal. Every calculator in this group applies the same reducing-balance formula Indian lenders use, so the only thing that changes between them is what you are financing and which extra costs get counted.

Start with the EMI Calculator if you already know the loan amount, rate and tenure. If you are buying something and paying part of it upfront, EMI With Down Payment finances only the balance. If you want to know what you can afford before shopping, use EMI Affordability, which works backwards from your income rather than forwards from a price.

Zero Cost EMI is the odd one out: it deals with an offer rather than a loan, and shows what a no-cost plan really costs once the processing fee and any cash discount you gave up are counted.

One assumption runs through all of them: the interest rate is treated as fixed for the whole tenure. Floating-rate loans reset when the benchmark moves, so rerun the numbers after each reset. For a specific loan product rather than the instalment maths, the loan calculators are the better starting point.
